Deleting Your Account
You can delete your ShipRelay account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account.
What happens when you delete
Immediately
- Your account is deactivated
- Active Stripe subscription is cancelled
- OAuth tokens and API keys are revoked
- You are signed out
Within 30 days
- Subscriber email addresses are permanently deleted
- Generated changelog content is permanently deleted
- Analytics data is anonymized (your user ID is removed)
- Your user record is permanently deleted
Hosted changelog page
After deletion, your hosted changelog page displays a notice: "This project is no longer maintained." After 30 days, the page returns 404.
Important
This action is permanent. There is no way to recover your account, changelogs, or subscriber data after deletion.
Subscriber data deletion
If you are a subscriber to someone else's changelog (not a ShipRelay customer), you can unsubscribe from any email digest using the one-click unsubscribe link. To request full deletion of your email from ShipRelay's database, use the "Delete my data" option on the unsubscribe page.
